Stephen Sharp

Stephen Sharp is a Senior Vice President at Waygar Capital Inc. He has spent over 30 years in asset based lending in Canada, including underwriting, portfolio management, credit, and new business origination. Throughout Stephen’s career, he has held progressively senior positions at Bank of New York, Wells Fargo (previously Congress/Wachovia Bank) as well as PNC Bank Canada. Stephen is a market builder, establishing both Canadian and Montreal offices. He is extremely well known in the asset based community as a solution driven, transaction maker and has enjoyed great success in structuring many mid-market transactions over the years. Stephen is currently a member of the Turnaround Management Association in Montreal and has also served as a Director of the Concordia International MBA Case Competition. Stephen has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance from Concordia University.
