Mark Abbott

Mark Abbott has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark is currently the Founder and CEO of Ninety.io, a company that provides cloud-based business building and awareness tools. Prior to that, they were the Founder and Managing Member of VTH Partners, where their focus was on helping entrepreneurial leadership teams build successful companies. Mark also founded Humalytix, LLC, a holding company that aims to elevate the productivity and resilience of small and mid-sized companies.

Earlier in their career, Mark served as the CEO of Silver Point Commercial Finance, where they built a team and launched verticals focusing on private equity sponsors, healthcare, and telecom, media, and technology. Mark also worked as a Senior Managing Director at Trivest Partners, a middle-market private equity firm. During this time, they played a key role in originating, underwriting, and closing investment opportunities, as well as overseeing portfolio companies.

Prior to Trivest Partners, Mark held leadership positions at Heller Financial, including the role of President of Heller Corporate Finance. In this position, they had complete P&L responsibility for a leveraged lending and merchant banking unit, overseeing operations, and managing investments in over 400 companies.

Mark began their career as a Vice President at Continental Bank, N.A., which was later acquired by Bank of America, N.A.

Mark Abbott began their education at the American School of London High School, where they attended from 1974 to 1978. After completing high school, they enrolled in Marquette University from 1978 to 1980, majoring in Economics. Following their time at Marquette, Abbott pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1980 to 1982.
