Jym Brown

Jym Brown has a diverse work experience spanning a range of roles and industries. From 2006 to 2007, Jym worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Zest Solutions. Following this, from 2007 to 2011, they served as a Regional Resourcing Manager at Focus Search and Selection, specializing primarily in Financial Services and developing relationships with clients.

In 2011, Jym transitioned into the education sector, joining Peterborough Regional College as a Co-ordinating Lecturer and HE Lecturer. Jym held this position until 2019, during which they also began working as a Lecturer in Coaching, Development and Leadership as well as Lecturer in Education at University Centre Peterborough (UCP) from 2018 to 2022.

In 2019, Jym pursued independent work as a Performance Consultant, offering consultancy services to sports teams and businesses seeking to enhance performance, improve group dynamics, and leadership. Simultaneously, they also embarked on a career as a Writer and Public Speaker, using ancient and contemporary philosophy, psychological research, and pop-culture references to address topics in personal development, business, and society.

In 2021, Jym took on the role of an Associate Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, where they remained until 2022. Currently, Jym holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ningi, starting in 2023, as well as serving as the Head of Performance since 2022.

Jym Brown has an extensive education history. Jym started their academic journey at Spalding Grammar School from 1995 to 2002. After completing their secondary education, they went on to the University of Northampton from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Biomechanics, graduating with First Class honors (BSc 1st).

Jym then pursued higher education at Staffordshire University from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Master's degree in Coaching and Psychology. Their studies focused on the fields of Coaching and Psychology, providing him with a deeper understanding of these subjects.

Continuing their educational pursuits, Jym enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at Staffordshire University, commencing in 2020. Jym is expected to complete this program in 2024, majoring in Epistemological Philosophy, Reflective Practice, and the Development of Leadership.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jym also holds a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in May 2023.
