Senior Designer Manager, Vertical Lead For Customer Experience, Logistics+ And FSR at Ninja Van

Dex Tan has a diverse work experience in design management and strategy. From 2019 to 2021, Dex worked as the Vice President of Experience Design, Product & Strategy at NETS. In this role, Dex was responsible for leading the design and strategy for a range of products. Since 2021, Dex has been working at Ninja Van, initially as the Senior Designer Vertical Lead for a new business unit called Logistics+. Subsequently, Dex became the Senior Designer Manager, Vertical Lead for Customer Experience, Logistics+ and FSR. Dex's role at Ninja Van involves managing and leading the design team, with a focus on improving the customer experience and optimizing logistics.

Dex Tan has a diverse education history. In 2021 to 2023, Dex studied at the National University of Singapore, pursuing a Master's degree in Computing with a specialization in Information Systems, particularly in the field of Human-Computer Interaction. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2017, Dex completed a Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis at the same university, focusing on Systems Analysis, Information Technology (IT), and Data Science. Earlier, from 2004 to 2008, Dex attended the Nanyang Technological University Singapore, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Visual Arts Education. During the same period, Dex also obtained Teaching Accreditation in Visual Arts Education from the National Institute of Education. Before attending university, Dex completed the GCE 'A' Levels in Commerce at Temasek Junior College in 1998-1999. Dex has also acquired additional certifications, including UX for Voice: Planning and Implementation from Lynda.com, a Nielson Norman Group UX Certificate, and Teaching Accreditation from the National Institute of Education. Other certifications include Social Media Marketing Certification from Hootsuite and a Certificate for New Hire Orientation and VRU - Coaching from Starhub Pte. Ltd.
