Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in technical accounting, SEC reporting, and financial compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Accounting at NinjaOne since May 2023, Michael previously held significant roles at Upland Software, including VP of Technical Accounting and Controller for M&A. Prior experience includes positions at Bazaarvoice and Chuy's Holdings, where responsibilities encompassed financial statement preparation, SEC filings, and the implementation of internal controls. Michael's career initiated at Energy Transfer as an SEC Reporting Senior and included foundational experience as a Senior Auditor at EY. Michael holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Texas State University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
