Ryan Shaw

Ryan Shaw has been working since 2015, starting with Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Management Trainee. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service during all aspects of car rentals, informing and selling customers on Enterprise protection products, executing daily operations of the branch, and managing fleet and other employees. Ryan also facilitated reservations over the phone, online, and in person.

In 2015, Ryan Shaw started working with RWS LLC as the Head Proprietary Trader, where they were the President and Trader for a self-directed fund dealing in derivatives and wealth management. The fund was aimed at short term spec investments using options and spreads on equities and futures, and kept primarily delta neutral, theta positive, capitalizing on market cyclicality.

In 2017, Ryan Shaw began working with NinjaTrader Group, LLC as a Process Improvement Manager. Ryan then became a Sr. Team Lead - Platform Support, where they provided support and guidance to clients looking to use advanced trading strategies across multiple products and exchanges. Ryan also ensured their strategies were setup correctly and functioning as expected in simulation trading before trading live, and provided support via email, phone, and live webinars.

In 2019, Ryan Shaw became a Contributor for luckbox magazine, where they wrote and contributed to pieces focusing on active investing, probabilistic opportunities in finance, trading strategies, and more.

Ryan Shaw attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2008 to 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics.
