Tom Richards has over 25 years of experience in marketing and communications. In 1995, they began their career as a Traffic Manager at Dazu. Tom then moved to BBDO West in 1996, where they were an Assistant Account Executive for clients such as Apple and Starbucks Coffee Company. In 1998, they joined Campbell Ewald as an Account Executive, working with clients such as TiVo and Careerpath.com. From 2000 to 2004, they were an Executive Vice President, Director of Client Service at M&C Saatchi, working with clients in the healthcare, cancer, attractions, restaurant and energy sectors. In 2016, they became Executive Vice President, Client Services and Brand Leadership at BLITZ. In 2017, they founded Haverty Consulting Inc., offering strategic, media, messaging and creative consulting services. Tom also worked as a Managing Director, Client Services (Contract) at Eclectic Communications, responsible for transforming the agency from primarily a sub-vendor to direct-client-contract agency. In 2020, they joined Kobe Digital as Head of Client Success / Partner, leading the reorganization of marketing services business. Tom then moved to NINJIO Cybersecurity Awareness Training in 2021, taking on the roles of Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President, Marketing. In this role, they lead all marketing initiatives for the global cybersecurity awareness training and simulated phishing services company.

Tom Richards obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from California State University, Northridge between 1990 and 1996. In 2016, they enrolled in AAAA's Executive Leadership Program. In August 2019, they obtained the Google Ads Fundamentals certification from Google.
