Greg Richardson has a diverse work experience in software engineering and project management. Greg began their career at Redflex as a software engineer and project lead, where they made significant contributions to improving quality systems procedures and assisted with tender preparation. Greg then moved on to Molecular Devices and Axon Instruments Inc, where they served as a software project lead and mentored other developers. At GKN Aerospace, Greg worked as a Software Engineering Architect, leading software projects and heading the software process, technologies, and training. Greg later joined OBS as a Software Consultant before joining Nintex as a Principal Software Engineer. At Nintex, Greg worked with the Nintex Mobile team and contributed to developing the Nintex Mobile app on major platforms. Currently, they are involved in developing a big data platform using Databricks and Spark while also being a member of the Architectural Patterns and Practices group at Nintex that promotes proper architectural processes throughout the company.
Greg Richardson completed their Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Melbourne, from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Melbourne High School from 1985 to 1988. Greg has also obtained several certifications, including "DAIS 2022 Lakehouse with Delta Lake Deep Dive" and "Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals" from Databricks in 2022, and "Software Architecture Foundations" from LinkedIn in 2021. Other certifications include "Scala Essential Training for Data Science" in 2020, "Teamwork Foundations" in 2015, and "Learning ASP.NET Core MVC" in 2019, among others.
