Razvan Lica's work experience starts in 2011 as a Technician at the Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH). Razvan then progressed to become a Junior Physicist within the same department. In 2014, they joined CERN as a Doctoral Student, working on the development of the ISOLDE Decay Station and conducting spectroscopic studies of exotic nuclei. After completing their PhD in 2017, Razvan returned to IFIN-HH as a Scientific Researcher III, where they proposed and performed nuclear physics experiments, developed experimental techniques, and applied for research funding. In 2018, they took on multiple roles at CERN, including Spokesperson of the ISOLDE Decay Station Collaboration, Member of the Group for the Upgrade of ISOLDE, Senior Research Fellow, and Romanian Representative on the Advisory Committee of CERN Users. In 2022, Razvan assumed the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Nuclear Physics at IFIN-HH, as well as Program Advisory Committee Secretary.
Razvan Lica completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics at the University of Bucharest, from 2009 to 2012. Razvan then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics at the same institution, from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, where they studied from 2014 to 2017.
