Lucas Otten

Lucas Otten is an experienced data engineer currently working with the Data Platform Fundament team at CZ since April 2023, focusing on maintaining and building a Delta Lake platform. Otten has been with Nippur since September 2020 and also holds a sales position at Bever since October 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a data scientist at IG&H from March 2019 to January 2020 and at Shareship from March 2018 to December 2018, where Otten contributed to revolutionizing inland cargo transportation through European waterways as part of a graduate internship. Earlier experience includes working as a vestigingsmedewerker at StudentsPlus Nederland from September 2014 to November 2018, recruiting new students and conducting intake interviews, and serving as a hiker at Easy Way b.v. from July 2013 to July 2017. Otten completed an MSc in Data Science & Entrepreneurship at Jheronimus Academy of Data Science from 2016 to 2018 and holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Eindhoven University of Technology from 2012 to 2016.
