Inge Schou is a Social Anthropologist and senior advisor at NIRAS, Denmark, with over 34 years of experience in international development projects, particularly in the Sahel region of West Africa. Since 2002, they have managed and provided technical advice on projects related to community development, water supply, and sanitation. Inge began their career in 1987, conducting field studies in Burkina Faso, and has since worked with numerous national and international NGOs, focusing on capacity building and socio-economic studies. Their extensive expertise includes project management in agriculture and water supply initiatives in Burkina Faso and Mali. Inge holds a Master of Arts in Social Anthropology from Aarhus Universitet, earned between 1981 and 1990.
