Nils Jesper Overgaard

Nils Jesper Overgaard has extensive experience in operations management and business development across various industries. Currently, Nils serves as General Manager at NIRAS, leading the start-up of US operations, overseeing client assignments, recruitment, and business unit strategies while holding P&L responsibility. Previously, Nils was Head of Operations at Xellia Pharmaceuticals, successfully managing the design and validation of a new site in Cleveland and ramping up operations in Copenhagen. Nils also held managerial roles at Novo Nordisk, focusing on maximizing output and improving processes in filling operations and fine mechanical machine shops. With a strong foundation in engineering, Nils earned a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from DTU and an HD in International Management and Economics from Copenhagen Business School.
