Per Haugaard

Per Haugaard is a seasoned engineering professional with a strong focus on energy, indoor climate, and building envelope design. Experience includes roles at Niras A/S, Steensen Varming, and Esbensen Consulting Engineers A/S, where project management and energy assessments for various building types were key responsibilities. In positions such as Chief Specialist at COWI and Ekspertisechef at NIRAS, Per Haugaard has contributed expertise in optimizing thermal performance and indoor climate solutions. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering from Danmarks Tekniske Universitet and additional training in building simulation and daylight design from ESRU at the University of Strathclyde, as well as a focus on daylight in the built environment from Ecole d'ingénieurs et d'architectes de Fribourg.
