Betsy Walker is the current CEO at NIRD. Betsy has previous experience working at Microsoft as a Sr. Program Manager from May 2017 to September 2019. There, they worked on digital privacy and account UX. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Northwest Independent Ruby Development (NIRD LLC) from October 2015 to April 2017. There, they were responsible for leading client demos, business operations, full-cycle business development, and front-end web development in Rails, AngularJS, Ember, and Sass.
Betsy Walker has a Bachelor's Degree in International Political Economy and Asian Studies from the University of Puget Sound.
