Renée Hendricksen

Renée Hendricksen is currently the CTO & Chief Adventure Officer at NIRD. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Fastly from December 2019 to February 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Technical Product Manager at Tableau Software from September 2019 to December 2019.

From January 2019 to June 2019, Renée was the Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at Humming, Inc. Renée also held the position of CEO at Travis CI from February 2018 to February 2019, and Interim CEO from November 2017 to January 2018. Renée started at Travis CI as a Senior Software Engineer in May 2016 and held that position until November 2017.

Prior to their work in the tech industry, Renée was an Instructor at the University of Washington from August 2012 to August 2015, teaching in the Ruby on Rails certificate program. Renée was also a Co-Instructor at ReadySetRails from March 2012 to September 2012, and Founding CTO at Pack Me Perfect, LLC from April 2011 to January 2013.

Renée Hendricksen has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Economics, and Physics from the University of Puget Sound. Renée also has a High School Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Bergen County Academies.
