Bryce Dombrowski, EIT

Bryce Dombrowski, EIT, has six years of work experience. In 2022, they worked as a Mechatronics Engineer EIT at Niricson Software Inc. In 2021, they worked as an Integration Engineer at Tekton Innovations, where they were responsible for installation, integration, and commissioning of PLCs, sensors, drives, and actuators, as well as PLC programming using Structured Text language and assembly of industrial CNC machines. Bryce also worked as a Product Designer - Mechatronics at Dometic, where they conducted comprehensive performance testing and analysis for boat steering actuator prototypes. In 2020, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Ocean Networks Canada, where they implemented a 3D printer monitoring system with a live feed and remotely accessible controls, created a tilt indicator for deep sea instrument platforms, and designed a lift point for a scientific instrument. In 2019, they worked as a Subcontracts Engineering Intern at Kiewit, where they were the point of contact for each subcontract, negotiated and executed contracts, monitored work progress, and verified cost claims. In 2018, they worked as a Systems Engineer Co-op at Sony Pictures Imageworks, where they helped artists with computer issues and general troubleshooting, automated tasks with the use of Python scripts, and set up new artist desks.

Bryce Dombrowski, EIT, obtained their Double Dogwood Diploma (Diplôme de fin d’études secondaires en Colombie-Britannique and British Columbia Certificate of Graduation) from the British Colombia Ministry of Education in June 2015. Bryce then attended the University of Victoria from 2016 to 2021 and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering. In March 2019, they obtained a Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid certification from the Canadian Red Cross.
