Abhay Kumar

Abhay Kumar is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Nirvana Insurance since 2023. Previously, they worked at Swiggy from 2018 to 2023, where they held various roles such as Software Development Engineer IV, Software Development Engineer III, and Software Development Engineer II. During their time at Swiggy, they implemented several enhancements and optimizations to improve service quality and customer experience. Before Swiggy, Abhay worked at Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd) as a Software Development Engineer II and Software Development Engineer, where they contributed to the improvement of systems and developed various features. Abhay also has experience working at Google as a Student Developer and at IIT Kharagpur AUV Team as a Team Lead. Additionally, Abhay has experience in research and project management through their roles at National University of Singapore and Samudra Manthan.

Abhay Kumar completed their B.Tech + M.Tech in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from 2011 to 2016.
