Preston Linn

Preston Linn has worked in a variety of roles in the past. In 2015, they were the Industry Academic Coordinator for the Biomedical Engineering Department, a new position focused on building relationships between the industrial and academic communities. From 2013 to 2015, they were a member of Rotary International and First Flight Venture Center, and a Navigator (Executive in Residence) at the First Flight Venture Center. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Co-Founder of NIRvana Sciences, a company emerging from the NCSU Chemistry Department. From 2013 to 2015, they were also a member of RTP Capital Associates. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Regional Representative for the Center for Innovation Management Studies (CIMS). From 2008 to 2011, they were the Principal of INNOVALYST, LLC. From 2007 to 2008, they were the VP of Alliances for Advanced Animal Diagnostics. From 2002 to 2007, they were an Alliance Manager for BD Technologies (Becton Dickinson). From 1999 to 2002, they were an Alliance Manager for BD.

Preston Linn attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1966 to 1970, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
