Tim Shute

Tim Shute has extensive work experience in the software and technology industry. Tim currently works at NiSoft as a Product Manager since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at MillerTech for over a decade, holding various roles including Head of Business Development and Manager for MillerTech Ireland. In their role as Manager, Tim was responsible for managing clients in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Tim was also a member of the MillerTech Senior Management Team and had sole responsibility for technical writing.

Tim also worked at NiSoft earlier in their career, starting in 1998 as a Client Services Manager. In this role, they reported directly to the CEO and Board level, managing the complete software project lifecycle and overseeing client support processes. Tim also served as the overall Technical Consultant for the company in areas related to database design, storage, and security.

Before joining NiSoft, Tim worked at Miller Technology as an Associate Director. Tim participated at the Board level, contributing to company policy and strategy, budgeting, and staff development. Additionally, they acted as a Project Manager for key projects and collaborated with the Sales Manager on client requirements and tender responses. Tim worked at Miller Technology from February 1984 to March 1998.

Tim Shute has a diverse education background. Tim started by attending the University of London from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc. Hons.) degree in Environmental Biology. Following this, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of London in 1981-1982. In 1986-1987, Tim enrolled in the London Business School and obtained a Diploma in Management Studies (DMS). Lastly, they furthered their education at the University of Surrey in 1995-1996, focusing on Business Japanese and earning an RSA (Royal Society of Arts) qualification.
