Mel Schramek

Mel Schramek has extensive work experience in the field of intelligence operations. They served as the Vice President of Intelligence Operations at Nisos starting in 2023 and previously held the position of Managing Principal from 2021 to 2023. Before joining Nisos, Mel worked as an Intelligence Consultant at the same company from 2020 to 2021. Prior to Nisos, Mel worked at the Central Intelligence Agency for many years. They held the role of Senior Operations Manager from 2014 to 2021 and Operations Manager from 2008 to 2014. Mel started their career as an Analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, Mel has early career experience as a Project Assistant at Kirkland & Ellis from 2000 to 2001.

Mel Schramek has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Northwestern University. Additionally, they have a Master of Arts degree in International Policy Studies - Arabic Intensive Language Program from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
