Eric Hardgrove

Eric Hardgrove is a seasoned communications professional with over twenty years of experience in strategic communications. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Business Alignment Communications at NiSource since January 2021, Eric has a proven track record of developing strategies that align with business objectives and providing counsel to C-suite leadership. Previous roles include Director of Utility Communications at Columbia Gas of Ohio and various positions at Nationwide, including Communications Manager and Director of Enterprise Reputation Management. Eric also has experience in government communications, having worked as Deputy Director of Communications at the Ohio Attorney General's Office and Public Information Officer at the Ohio Auditor of State's Office. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Capital University.
