Jeremy Handler

Jeremy Handler is an experienced professional in sustainability and engineering, currently serving as Environmental Principal - Climate at NiSource since October 2023. Previously, at ENGIE Impact from February 2016 to August 2023, Jeremy held multiple roles including Sustainability Solutions Manager and Energy and Sustainability Strategic Advisor, focusing on embedding sustainability into operational strategies for various organizations. Jeremy's career began at Hunter Industries, where responsibilities included Corporate Sustainability Manager and Mechanical Engineer, in addition to serving as Database Administrator. Involvement with Engineers Without Borders as President was marked by an expansion of the project portfolio and fundraising efforts, while early engineering experiences included co-op work at Volvo Car Group and a mechanical engineering role at Springs Window Fashions. Jeremy holds an MBA in Sustainability from Alliant International University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
