Krista Burns

Krista Burns is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations support and communication within the utility sector. Currently serving as a Senior Operations Support Specialist at NiSource since March 2023, Krista previously held multiple roles at Columbia Gas of Virginia from July 2018 to March 2023, including SMS State Lead, Communication Specialist, and Executive Administrative Assistant in the Communication & Community Relations Department. Prior to that, Krista worked as an Administrative Assistant at Columbia Gas of Ohio from August 2013 to July 2018, and as Marketing Director and Client Concierge at Daniel J. DeVerna from July 2012 to August 2013. Krista holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication and Marketing from Morehead State University, completed in 2011, and graduated from Lake High School in 2007.
