Mark Pratt

Mark Pratt is a Lead Operational Excellence Specialist with NiSource, one of the largest fully regulated utility companies in the United States, serving millions of customers across multiple states. Previously, they served in the US Navy for 24 years as a Nuclear Chief Machinist Mate, gaining extensive expertise in fluid mechanics, power plant operations, and quality assurance. Mark also spent 14 months as an internal QA auditor and has experience managing HVAC, hydraulics, and steam systems. They were selected as the lead Mechanical Engineering Instructor at the Nuclear Power Training Unit in Charleston, SC, where they trained over 1,000 operators. Mark holds a nuclear operator's license from the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.
