Melissa Thompson is an experienced regulatory attorney currently serving as the Director of Regulatory Policy at Columbia Gas of Ohio, Inc. since April 2015, where responsibilities include developing policies for energy efficiency programs, overseeing regulatory filings, and implementing business strategy initiatives. Thompson previously held positions as Senior Counsel at NiSource Inc., where focus was on regulatory legal matters, and as an Associate at both Whitt Sturtevant LLP and Carpenter Lipps & Leland LLP, providing counsel to various Ohio utilities.
