Patrick Sandman

Patrick Sandman currently serves as the Lead Process Safety Specialist at NiSource, where responsibilities include supporting the Process Safety Leadership team and specializing in Risk Assessment, Risk Management, and Incident Investigation. Previously, Patrick was the Safety Management Systems Lead at Columbia Gas of Ohio, focusing on the implementation of a Safety Management System model and managing employee-reported risks. Earlier roles at NiSource included project management and community engagement, with significant contributions to initiatives such as the NiSource Environmental Action Team and various diversity and inclusion efforts. Patrick holds a BA in History from The Ohio State University and a teaching license in Integrated Social Studies from Ohio Dominican University.
