Steve Smith

Steve Smith currently serves as CyberSecurity Lead Architect at NiSource since February 2023. Prior to this role, Steve spent over two decades at OhioHealth, where advancements included serving as Network Security Architect, overseeing network security for multiple data centers with a focus on implementing robust Palo Alto firewall solutions. Notable achievements include transitioning the organization to a highly redundant, multi-firewall connection, acting as the primary point-of-contact during the conversion to EPIC electronic medical records, and integrating advanced traffic segmentation technologies. Steve also held roles as Network Security Engineer and Server Group Team Leader, contributing significantly to network security and server administration. Steve holds an education from The University of Akron.
