Josh Mitchell is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies. Currently serving as AD/ADAS Advanced Technology Development Engineering Manager at Nissan Motor Corporation since July 2013, Josh leads a global team responsible for next-generation active safety system development and future technology strategies. Earlier roles at Nissan included senior and lead positions in ADAS and active safety systems, contributing to the development of automotive platforms for the European market. Prior to Nissan, Josh gained experience as a Junior Design Engineer at Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) Ltd, integrating advanced motorsport technology into supercars. Josh holds a BEng (Hons) in Automotive Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a BA (Hons) in History from The University of Manchester.
