Robert Walker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive and environmental sectors. Currently serving in the VP Office/Manufacturing Strategy Planning Office at Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd since March 2016, Robert focuses on developing innovative strategic projects to enhance the competitiveness of the Sunderland plant. Previously, Robert held senior technical management roles at the Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders (SMMT) from 2002 to 2016, contributing to environmental initiatives within the UK motor industry. Robert's earlier experience includes consulting for MG Rover Group as an Environmental Consultant, and providing consultancy services at Robert Long Consultancy Limited.
