John Henry Gaps

John Henry Gaps has a diverse work experience in the field of network operations and technical support. John Henry started their career at Associated Press as a Stringer, Personal Assistant, and Copy Editor. John Henry then worked at D.I.T. Computers as a Computer Technician, assembling and maintaining computers for consumers and small businesses. John also worked as a Computer Salesman at Best Buy, providing customer consultations on personal computers and electronics.

After that, John joined Mediacom Communications as a Tier I Technical Support Representative, where they handled technical issues with high-speed internet and voice-over-IP services. John Henry later moved on to become a Tier II Technical Associate, providing support for installation and maintenance technicians across a 22-state customer environment. At Mediacom, they also worked as a Network Operations Center Event Operator, managing phone calls, emails, and help desk tickets for event management and outage mitigation.

John then joined Nitel as a Network Operations Center Engineer, troubleshooting various network solutions for client enterprise networks and monitoring network stability. John Henry also served as a Network Analyst III, monitoring the network management system for faults and escalating and resolving network problems. Prior to this, they worked as a Network Analyst II, providing support for clients on MPLS, internet, VoIP, and other managed network services.
