Michael Simpson

Mike Simpson has a diverse work experience in network operations and engineering roles. Mike is currently working as the Regional Director of Network Operations at Nitel since October 2022. Prior to this, Mike held various positions at Hypercore Networks, Inc., including Senior Operations Manager, Network Operations Center Manager, and Network Operations Center Engineer from 2016 to 2021. Mike also worked as a Network Operations Center Engineer at Reallinx from 2015 to 2017. Earlier in their career, Mike served as a Cisco Network Engineer at SYKES Costa Rica from 2010 to 2015 and as an English Teacher at Berlitz Corporation from 2013 to 2014.

Mike Simpson completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Hispanoamericana (CR) from 2008 to 2013. Mike later pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Administración y gestión de empresas, general from Universidad Fidélitas, which they completed from 2022 to 2025. Along with their formal education, Mike also obtained certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from SYKES Costa Rica, MTCNA from MikroTik, and NSE 3 from Fortinet.
