Judy Nitsch

Judy Nitsch is a distinguished civil engineer and founding principal of Nitsch Engineering, with a career spanning over three decades since its establishment in September 1989. Nitsch has held leadership positions, including President and Chairman of Nitsch Engineering, and has served as an Outside Director for Ayers Saint Gross and Pennoni since 2017 and 2012, respectively. Nitsch is involved in higher education governance as a member of the Board of Trustees at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Boston Architectural College, previously serving as Vice Chair and Chair at Boston Architectural College. Nitsch's early career includes significant roles at Allen Demurjian Major & Nitsch, Inc. and Schofield Brothers, Inc. Nitsch's educational credentials include a BS in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and honorary doctorates from both Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Massachusetts Maritime Academy, in addition to executive education at Harvard Business School.
