Peter Nitze

Peter Nitze has worked in various leadership roles throughout their career. Peter worked as Vice President of Operations at DRS Technologies, Inc. from April 2004 to July 2005. Peter was employed as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Martek Biosciences between September 2005 to February 2011, where they doubled revenues to $450M and improved gross margins from 36% to over 53%, among other achievements. Peter also served as President, Nutritional Lipids at DSM Nutritional Products from February 2011 to May 2013, where they led a multi-site, vertically integrated $370M business unit. Since September 2015, they have been the President & CEO of Nitze-Stagen & Company, Inc. where they are responsible for the company's performance and strategic direction. Most recently, they were appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Nitze-Stagen & Company, Inc. from September 2022.

Peter Nitze earned a BA in Slavic Languages and Literature from Harvard University in 1981. Later, they obtained an MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University in 1986 and another MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the same institution in 1989.
