Michael Minassian is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the financial services and payments sectors. Currently serving as the VP & Head of Instarem, APAC at NIUM since February 2020, Michael is focused on driving growth in digital remittance for both consumer and SME platforms across six markets. Prior to this role, Michael was the Head of Australia, Oceania, North Asia & Philippines at MoneyGram International, overseeing a vast portfolio across 21 markets and achieving significant transaction volume growth. Earlier career stages included leadership positions at Western Union, Customers Limited, and Travelex, where Michael demonstrated expertise in business development, strategic planning, account management, and regional operations.
