Michael Common

Michael Common has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Michael is currently the CEO and co-founder of Nivo, a company that focuses on creating trust and convenience in customer service interactions through instant messaging. Prior to this, they worked at Barclays, where they held various roles including Nivo Lead, Corporate and Business Banking Onboarding Product Director, Corporate Onboarding Programme Business Lead, and Senior Implementation Project Manager. Michael also worked at Barclays UK as an eChannels Renewal Programme Implementation Manager. Before joining Barclays, Michael worked as a Project Manager and Business Analyst for Barclays Buying Abroad, New to UK, and Barclays at Work. Michael started their career as a Business Analyst and later served as the Graduate Assistant to the Branch Area Director at Barclays UK. Prior to Barclays, they worked as a Process Engineer at BNFL during their year in industry.

Michael Common attended The University of Manchester from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
