The NJ Pizza Alliance is a New Jersey–based community organization dedicated to connecting, supporting, and promoting the state’s independent pizza community across North, Central, and South Jersey. It exists to provide a unifying platform for pizzeria owners, industry partners, media, and the public, and to bring structure and visibility to a pizza culture that has historically lived in separate regional pockets.

The Alliance represents New Jersey’s pizza community as a whole, serving as a shared space where shops, partners, and supporters can come together around a common culture and identity. Its focus is on celebrating independent pizzerias, strengthening connections across the state, and increasing awareness of New Jersey’s role as one of the most diverse and active pizza markets in the country.

A core part of the NJ Pizza Alliance’s identity is its role as the connective tissue between different parts of the state, using pizza culture as a shared language to bridge geographic and business divides. The organization is not a trade group, franchise system, or rating platform, and it does not score or rank pizzerias.

At its core, the NJ Pizza Alliance exists to help New Jersey’s pizza community operate and be recognized as a connected statewide ecosystem rather than as isolated local scenes.
