Roderick Simons

Roderick Simons is an experienced technology leader with a focus on payments and digital transformation. Currently serving as CPTO and co-founder of NjiaPay since October 2024, Roderick is dedicated to creating efficient payment solutions for African merchants. As owner of Simovate since May 2023, Roderick provides advisory services on digital transformation, acting in various fractional CTO roles. Previously, Roderick was the CTO and co-founder of Yolt from 2016 to 2021, where significant contributions were made to IT strategy and app development. Roderick's earlier roles at ING included Engineering Manager for mobile banking apps and Software Engineering Manager for voice response applications. Education was completed at the University of Amsterdam from 2007 to 2009.
