Matt Kitchen

Matt Kitchen serves as a School Board Member for the Keansburg Board of Education since August 2018, where responsibilities include reviewing and voting on recommendations from the Superintendent and Business Administrator, as well as participating in specific committees. Since May 2019, Matt Kitchen has also been a Legislative Committee Member representing Legislative District 13 for the New Jersey School Boards Association, focusing on education-related legislation. Additionally, since June 2016, Matt Kitchen holds the position of Keansburg Democratic Municipal Chair for the Monmouth County Democrats. Prior professional experience includes serving as a Union Elevator Constructor at Arrow Elevator Inc. from April 2013 to November 2020. Matt Kitchen is currently pursuing education at Rutgers University - Camden, with an expected completion date in December 2023, and previously earned an Associate of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Brookdale Community College.
