Michael Whang

Michael Whang has a diverse work experience in the fields of research and academia. Michael started their career as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, where they conducted research on T cell proliferation and autophagy. Michael then worked as a Specialist at the same institution, followed by a role as an Assistant Adjunct Professor. In this role, they conducted extensive research on the molecular mechanisms of arthritis and psoriatic arthritis-like disease.

Currently, Michael is working at Nkarta, Inc. Michael started as a Principal Scientist and later progressed to the role of Senior Staff Scientist. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director. Further details about their responsibilities and achievements in these roles are not provided.

Michael Whang completed their education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology in 2008.
