Ryan Kum

Ryan Kum is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and planning across various sectors, including biotechnology and healthcare. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Finance at Nkarta, Inc. since June 2022, Ryan has previously held significant roles such as Senior Director of FP&A at Nektar Therapeutics and Director of FP&A at MBP Titan, where responsibilities included finance leadership for a biotech spin-out. Additional experience includes roles at Intrexon Corporation focusing on corporate development and FP&A, as well as a foundation in investment banking with KBW and exposure to technology services at First California Bank. Ryan holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and has completed an MBA exchange program at Melbourne Business School, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University.
