Jorge Vafeas is the Digital Learning Director at NKD. Jorge was previously the Head of Department - Drama, and teacher of English Literature and Language at Three Rivers Academy (then known as Rydens Enterprise School) from September 2016 to June 2017. Jorge was also in charge of setting the curriculum across all year levels, as well as managing the team of teachers who taught those classes. Jorge also produced, directed, and choreographed the school musical "Little Shop of Horrors" in 2017. Jorge moved to the UK in 2016, and started working as an English Literature and Language teacher at Three Rivers Academy (then known as Rydens Enterprise School) for one academic year. Jorge also taught GCSE English Literature and Language, as well as junior classes (yr 7-9) during this time. Prior to working at Three Rivers Academy, Jorge was a Drama Teacher at Marist Brothers North Shore from January 2011 to July 2016.
Jorge Vafeas graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Jorge is certified in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn, and certified in Skills for Inclusive Conversations from LinkedIn.
