Erwin Heemrood

Erwin Heemrood is an experienced project manager in the field of civil engineering, currently serving as a Project Installation Manager at NKT since June 2022, overseeing cable installation works for the IJmuiden Ver Beta, Gamma, and Nederwiek 2 projects. Prior to NKT, Erwin held positions including Installation Proposal Manager at Faber Betonpompen BV and Adviseur duurzaamheid en innovatie at Boskalis Subsea Cables. Erwin's earlier roles included Tender Engineer at BAM Infra Nederland, where project experience included the Blyth offshore wind farm, and Junior Project Engineer at VBMS, focusing on projects such as Gemini and Galloper offshore wind farms. Erwin gained foundational experience through internships, including a graduation project at ARCADIS on floating foundations for offshore wind turbines and research roles at MWH Global and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. Erwin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
