Kai Bauerbach

Kai Bauerbach, Dr.-Ing., has extensive work experience in engineering and project management. Kai currently holds the position of Project Lead Engineer at NKT, starting in October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at MMEC Mannesmann GmbH, where they served as a Senior Discipline Engineer from July 2017 to September 2020, and as a Discipline Engineer from July 2014 to June 2017. Kai also gained experience as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Scientific Employee) at Technische Universität Darmstadt from May 2008 to October 2013.

Kai Bauerbach, Dr.-Ing., completed their education in the following chronological order:

- From 2001 to 2002, they pursued Grundstudium in Bauingenieurwesen at Technische Universität Darmstadt.

- In 2003, they studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

- From 2004 to 2008, they obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanik from Technische Universität Darmstadt.

- In 2013, they completed their Promotion in Bauingenieurwesen at Technische Universität Darmstadt.

In addition to their educational background, Dr.-Ing. Kai Bauerbach holds an IMPA Level D certification in Project Management, which was obtained in December 2021 from GPM Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement e. V.
