Lorena Marcao

Lorena Marcao is an experienced professional with a background in planning, product management, and project management across diverse industries. Lorena started as a Summer Intern at Åbo Akademi University, contributing to research on Leadership in Projects and Marketing of Project-Related Services. After roles at BASF and in various capacities at SAS and SAE Digital S.A., Lorena became a Sr. Planning Analyst and implemented significant process improvements. Lorena currently serves as Product Owner for Fiber Optics at NKT. With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo and advanced degrees including a Master's in Materials and Manufacturing from Jönköping University, Lorena combines technical expertise with managerial acumen to drive operational efficiency and project success.
