Peter Murray OBE

Peter Murray OBE is a passionate advocate for better cities and active travel, with a particular focus on London. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Earth Architecture Lab and a Custodian Board Member for Urban World Matters, Peter has dedicated much of their career to enhancing architectural understanding through writing, organizing exhibitions, and publishing. They have held numerous leadership positions, including Chairman of The London Society and Founding Director of the London Festival of Architecture. Trained as an architect, Peter's focus has shifted towards public engagement, design advocacy, and promoting cycling as a means of urban improvement, while also engaging in various hobbies such as sketching and wood turning.
