Kenneth Gross

Kenneth Gross is a highly experienced professional in the field of laser applications and electro-mechanical maintenance. Currently serving as a Senior Laser Applications Engineer at nLIGHT since September 2011, Kenneth manages custom material processing projects involving various laser technologies and is responsible for project ownership, including material studies and customer interactions. Prior to this role, Kenneth gained valuable experience as a Laser Applications Development Engineer and as an Optical Engineer Intern at United Industrial Equipment, where skills in equipment repair and troubleshooting were honed. Kenneth's background also includes six years as a Nuclear Mechanic in the US Navy, where expertise in electro-mechanical maintenance and quality assurance was developed, along with foundational experience in customer service roles at Norberg Paints. Kenneth holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the University of Oregon and has completed rigorous nuclear training programs.
