Kevin Carbone is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and design engineering across various industries. Currently serving as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at nLIGHT since November 2018, Kevin focuses on directed energy and medical laser development. Previously, Kevin worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Sigma Design, contributing to HP's 3D color printer program, and held roles at Alpha-Tec Systems, Planar Systems, US Digital, Renco Encoders, and Dynamics Research, encompassing responsibilities in design, manufacturing, and development of advanced engineering systems. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
