Mark DeFranza is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in product engineering and packaging. Currently serving as a Product Engineering Manager at nLight since October 2003, Mark has previously held positions as a Packaging Engineer at JDSU from September 1996 to October 2003 and as a Process Engineer at Intel from January 1995 to September 1996. Early career experience includes roles as a Development Engineer at IBM TJ Watson Research and a Packaging Engineer at HYPRES. Mark holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Stony Brook University.
