Michael Deleon

Michael deLeon is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in new product introduction (NPI) and systems integration within the technology sector. Currently serving as the NPI Process Engineering Manager at nLIGHT since June 2020, Michael supports the smooth transfer and quality production of products from research and development to manufacturing. Prior to nLIGHT, Michael spent over 24 years at HP, where roles included Systems Integration Expert Engineer for the 3D Multi Jet Fusion 500/300 Series, focusing on cross-functional leadership, product strategy, and technical reviews. Michael's early experience includes positions in software development, manufacturing engineering, and system development, all contributing to advancements in printing technology. Michael holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
