Sam Jones

Sam Jones is an experienced Environmental Health Safety Manager with a diverse background in various industries. Currently serving at nLIGHT since December 2020, Sam previously held significant roles including Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Port Townsend Paper Corporation and Safety Coordinator at Nippon Paper Industries USA. Prior experience includes multiple managerial positions at Westport L.L.C. and Westport Shipyard Inc., as well as a decade of service in the United States Air Force, where roles included Senior Military Safety Manager. Academically, Sam holds a Master's in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University, an MBA in Human Resources Management from Touro University, a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College, and two associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Fire Science and Industrial Safety Technology.
